This is producer Bubby Kent’s second release in three weeks after ‘Kaala Samrajya’. He and hero Salman Khan, had earlier given a hit called ‘Kurbaan’. This time around one cannot say whether the public will accept the film or not, because knowing the unpredictable nature of the box-office, one never knows though it had taken an excellent initial. ‘Jaanam Samjha Karo’, is the story of Rahul, a playboy billionaire, who goes gloge-trotting and has a gala time with his grandfather’s wealth. With him is his middle aged secretary Tubby aka Tejeshwar Singh (Jaspal Bhatti). At one point of time Rahul meets Chandni (Urmila Matondkar) dancing in a night club and he now wants to ‘hunt’ her. Jealous rivals may crib that he owes his success to his torso more than his talent. But fact remain that Salman Khan is hot, hot, hot. Abroad, Sallu is almost like a religion, Faithfully followed. Everytime he's there for a show, there's a mass hysteria that only pop scops inspire. His cloths (or whatever is there of them!)  are stolen, torn, begged for.  And the masses of apna desh aren't too far behind either . What else could be the reason for the bumper opening that woman - bashing , chauvinistic film like Bandhan took? . It was sheer Salman charisma all the way. Of course twenty two inch biceps and atys to die for and a face that's Kodak material do help. All that and talent too! Can't blame the jealous rivals for feeling what they do , can you?
