Sanjay Dutt

He's got everything that a star requires - the height, looks and persona. Born to the talented actress Nargis and star actor Sunil Dutt, Sanjay Dutt had everything going right. However, he lost himself to drugs, for a while. Numerous controversies loomed in front of him, thankfully after a struggle he came out of them clean.

In his famous triology of hits, Naam, Sadak and Khalnayak, Dutt gave award-winning performances. His portrayal of a lame poet in the Blockbuster Saajan,though he played second fiddle to Salman . He has continued with his acting after the TADA stint, in Daag - The Fire, Daud, Dushman with Kajol, Haseena Maan Jayegi and the likes.

Sanjay Dutt won his first Filmfare award for Vaastav in 2000 for his superb performance. He walked away with all the laurels for Kurukshetra, and the latest Mission Kashmir, for which he is in the running for the Filmfare Best Actor award this year.

And if the line-up of releases is anything to go by, then Sanjay Dutt will reclaim more lost ground in the ensuing year. Indeed, for this star, life has begun only after his 40s.

 Tough guy SUNIL SHETTY is nowadays facing the toughest time of his life. He has been having all big banner films going for him, but somehow they are failing to make it big at the box-office.
