Trade Guide reported Saajan, Sanam Bewafa and Phool Aur Kante as the Superhits of the year And the year was also studded with hits like Hum, Saudagar,Sadak,Kurbaan Narsimha,Patthar Ke Phool, Henna,Izzat, Phool Bane Angaaray,Prem Qaidi, 100 Days. The year also included some of the major success like Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin Maa,Saugandh, Hafta Bandh, Bhabhi, Pyar Ka Devta, Ramgarh Ke Sholay (Sholay's Spoof),Saathi,Aayee Milan Ki Raat, Fateh, Benaam Baadshah,Bajaran,Kohraam, Prahar. Akayla, Ajooba,Shankara,Do Matwale,Yodha, Lamhe, Love, Afsana Pyar Ka, Qurbani Rang Layegi,Khoon Ka Karz and Farishtay were the notable flops of the year. 

                            Achievers Of The Year

Among the heroes, the year proved to be very good for Salman Khan , Sunjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff. Among the heroines the year proved very lucky for Madhuri Dixit and Pooja Bhatt.

Ajay Devgan is promising new hero and Akshay Kumar among the notable new hero. Karishma Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar , Raveena Tandon were among the notable new heroines.

The year was Dominated by the Music ,Music was the real superstar of the year. Nadeem-Shravan were the top music director.

 Tough guy SUNIL SHETTY is nowadays facing the toughest time of his life. He has been having all big banner films going for him, but somehow they are failing to make it big at the box-office.
