THE OFF-SCREEN COMPETITION

It seems that Pooja Batra has been unceremoniously dropped from the Rekha show, which also features ex-lover Akshay Kumar and Manisha Koirala. Seems Shilpa Shetty was too nervous about letting beau Akshay travel to America with his ex. Hmm...looks like Shilpa doesn't trust her man. But, with all these women unable to trust Mr. Bhatia, one wonders what they are possibly doing with him in the first place. Maybe Shilpa should take a lesson or two from Raveena Tandon!

DYNAMITE DUO
After the super duper successes of Judwaa and the more recent Biwi No. 1, David Dhawan and Salman Khan will be paired again in Gordhan Tanwani's 'Mujhse Shaadi Karoge'. The other cast of the film is Karisma and  Govinda , who has returned under David's direction after this year's Haseena Maan Jayegi and Biwi No.1 film Incidentally, the title of the film was originally for Satish Kaushik's Anil Kapoor-Aishwarya Rai-Sonali Bendre starrer. But, the latter film's title has now been changed to 'Hamara Dil Aap Ke Paas Hai'. Isn't that a mouthful? How's HDAKPH for short? HSSH, HHRPK, HAHK, HADMRH, etc....too confusing?!?!

THE QUEEN FINALLY RETURNS
Sridevi will start shooting for Boney Kapoor's next film in the year 2000. Rumor has it that the film has three heroes and the search is on for the lucky threesome. She is also going to be featured in a remake of the Sally Field classic 'Not Without My Daughter'. And...no, the ex-Queen Bee is not in Aditya Chopra's 'Mohabbatein', contrary to popular belief. That film stars Amithabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai (in a rumored 15 minute guest appearance), Kim Sharma, Preeti, Jugal Hansraj, Uday Chopra, and Shami

 Tough guy SUNIL SHETTY is nowadays facing the toughest time of his life. He has been having all big banner films going for him, but somehow they are failing to make it big at the box-office.
