Yup,the Khan has been crossed the hottest superstar to hit B-town.The super brat boy who's currently the hero no.1 has survived and come up top against all odds . Though many insists that the controversies and his bad boy image would damage his career ,but it has made no difference to the Sallu's popularity with the masses . With eight big hits (Jeet, Judwaa, Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kiya , Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai, Bandhan, Biwi No. 1, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam & Hum Saath Saath Hain) in  and one average grosser (Auzaar) in the last 3 years, even flops like Jaanam Samjha Karo and Hello Brother ended up to opening packed houses all over-the-india. Distributor Shyam Shroff says,There's is no denying his oh-so enviable hitman at the box office. Salman is a Dharmendra of today generation. " To the college and school crowd Salman and Shahrukh film is a big draw but it's the masses where Salman Khan scores over Shahrukh Khan", says Taran Adarsh. According to another distributor Gupta,' all the movie media are against Salman as he refuse to give them interviews or bytes... Salman discouraged producers too call journalists for on shoot locations. He also didn't do many photoshoots. His coverage movies are shown as flood and undermined his hits due to his bad reputation. But today Salman is the biggest star and only star who guarantee excellent initials for films and mega bucks for producers and distributors'.
