The business of bollywood films has went down very badly with no universal hits expect Kaante, Aankhen and Raaz. So far this year Kaante has been the highest grosser of the year without any doubt. Mr. Bachchan is the star of the year with  Superhits Kaante and Aankhen to his credit. Bollywood will recall this as the worst year in the history of bollywood. Devdas, Humraz, Awara Pagal Deewana, Company, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Saathiya, Deewangee, 16 December, Ek Chhoti Si Love Story, Makdi were also successes as well but none of these can be termed as Universal success. Hrithik Roshan three hugely budgeted films bit the dust at
 the box office.
